We are developing the former Cashes Green hospital site in Stroud, working with Gloucestershire Land for People, a Community Land Trust (CLT).
Our aim is to redevelop the site to provide 78 new homes along with a variety of outdoor spaces including allotments, communal kitchen gardens, shared and private gardens, and wilder spaces for wildlife and residents to enjoy.
Haboakus and Gloucestershire Land for People are working with the support of the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA), who currently owns the site, and other local agencies including Stroud District Council and Cainscross Parish Council. For this project, we are working with architects DSDHA, landscape architects Studio Engleback and environmental engineers Atelier 10.
(* CLTs are set up to enable local people to acquire land and assets in towns, villages and the countryside throughout the county for a range of community uses and benefits to support the development of robust and sustainable communities.)
